Power up existing SIP accounts into a fully featured ring groups.

Benefit

Good for when you have a SIP login that rings when customers call your public number.

Option: Pull Calls Into SwitchSmith

  1. SwitchSmith will log into your current SIP provider using your registration details
  2. When a customer calls, both your current SIP phone and SwitchSmith will ring
  3. Your existing SIP phone and SwitchSmith are equal citizens
  4. Incoming calls route to ring groups defined in SwitchSmith
  5. Whoever picks up first will handle the call and it will stop ringing elsewhere

Option: Push Calls Into SwitchSmith

  1. Configure your PBX to forward calls into SwitchSmith
  2. SwitchSmith IP address 34.243.209.142 port 5060
  3. Add your public IP address to SwitchSmith using the app
  4. Incoming calls route to ring groups defined in SwitchSmith

How To Use It

  • Go to Tools / Connect Systems / Pull Calls
  • Add a new item
  • Enter the SIP registration details from your current system
  • Press Check Connection
  • Press Save
  • Go to Tools / Ring Groups
  • Add a new item
  • Go to Dedicated Number / From Your Account
  • Choose the SIP registration you just create
  • Give the group a name
  • Add a participant
  • Press Save
