Introducing Dial Out

You can now dial out directly from your mobile phone to customers whilst presenting one of your public facing numbers.

The dial out feature is available now in the iOS or Android app.

Dial out works by

• You choosing the number you want to call from the dial screen in the SwitchSmith app
• The app dials your public facing number from your mobile phone
• SwitchSmith connects your call to the customer number you chose in step 1
• The person you are calling sees a call from your public facing number

This allows you to keep your personal mobile number private from the person you are calling.

By making a call using your regular phone app you can leverage higher call quality and reliability than alternative VOIP based solutions.
